  14. We are looking for a fast, minimal threads package that runs under Unix.
  15. It should support 'true' parallelism (i.e. multiple physical processors
  16. can execute the various threads).  Portability would obviously be nice,
  17. but if it runs either on Sequent Symmetry, SGI Iris, or BBN Butterfly/TC2000,
  18. we would be happy.
