- Thanks for the sample reproducing the bug. I have reproduced it on
- my machine, and we'll try to get a fix to you ASAP. (Likely sometime
- next week) In the mean time, if you make isbad volatile, it works.
- The optimizer isn't completely bug free (what program is?), but there
- are usually easy work-arounds. We will do everything we can to fix bugs
- that are reported as fast as possible. Sending them to CSet2@vnet.ibm.com
- is probably the fastest way to get them to us. I'd really appreciate
- it if you could send those C files where you noticed such a noticable
- performance difference. We are very interested in doing something about
- it.
