- : Something that I haven't seen mentioned in this discussion (or I may have
- : missed it) is that you don't have to buy all 17 volumes. Each volume
- : has its own IBM publication number, so you can order them separately
- : (or so a Team OS/2 member tells me).
- :
- : Now, would someone who was rich enough to pay the $300 volunteer to
- : post the title and publication number (and maybe even a brief
- : description) of each volume in the set? Chances are, most of us will
- : only need a handful of volumes to get our job done.

- If you have the redbooks, there are references to some volumes that will
- get you started. I just received Presentation Manager Programming Reference
- Vol I. today. There are three volumes in the set. Vol I contains API
- reference for GPI,etc type calls. Vol II contains window API calls, workplace
- things. Vol III contains data type info, messages, etc. There is also a
- OS/2 2.0 Programming Guide, which has a number of volumes. Call an IBM office,
- talk to the librarian and you are on your way. (Now everybody don't flood
- them with so many requests that there is a backlog by the time I can afford
- the next one....)
