  13.    a question OS2 gurus from a friend. In a make file he's used the
  14. following construct

  16. findfiles | prog1 | prog2
  17.  
  18. Now, the piping operation only returns the status of prog2.  Is there a
  19. way of accessing the return status of the other piped processes? 
  20.  
  21. At the moment he's having to pass information along through prog1 &
  22. prog2, which is unsatisfactory.
