- However, the alpha/beta testing is going to be for < 6 months. IMHO, this
- is not enough time to find/fix the bugs AND make sure the fixes don't
- introduce new bugs. Also, vendors will be running few apps on the kernel
- at a time. The real problems with the kernel will come out when multiple
- applications start interacting together. You won't see this happening
- until NT goes into production.

- I will still stick with my statement that the stability of the kernel
- should be an area of concern. While they may catch some bugs, I would be
- very surprised if they still have a fair number of then lurking around. An
- operating system kernel is probably the most difficult piece of software to
- write and the only way to get it stable is to give it time to mature, just
- like fine wines! ;-)
