- We have a problem with the vt100 program that comes with
- the ibm tcp 1.2.1. When we connect to a Silicon graphics machine
- an then do a control-c (to kill some job), the terminal
- appears to stop responding to any keystrokes.
- Further investigation, by turning on the hex display, shows that
- the correct responses are sent and received. And the link is still
- actually alive but the display does not change.
- Telnet sessions work, but I don't want to use it because it
- hogs too much of the processor. And the SGI does not know about vt200
- type terminals.
- Anyone else have this problem with SGI machines? If so,
- do you have a cure?
