  13. here's the scoop:

  15. System configuration:
  16. 386 DX/25, 10.5 Meg RAM
  17. Novell NE1000, int 3, port 300, NetWare Requester for OS/2 loaded and running.
  18. WD8003E, int 5, port 280, TCP/IP 1.2.1 loaded and running on this card...
  19. com1 enabled
  20. ATI VGAWonder+
  21. Everex memory expansion board with 2.5 meg extended memory (figured in with the  
  22. total, already)

  24. The problem?  The board is registering with its software fine, the REquester  
  25. works, BUT, with or without the requester, and no matter which interrupt the WD  
  26. card is on, no packets ever successfully leave the WD card, but the machine  
  27. thinks its sending packets nonetheless, and a ping to the local host gives no  
  28. errors.

  30. We confirmed the lack of transmitted packets with Intel's NetSight Analyst.
  31. The functionality of the WD cards has been confirmed in native DOS sessions  
  32. with Novell's LanWorkPlace; the card is functional.  Both IBM and Novell have  
  33. conversed with me for literal hours on this one.

  35. Does anyone have any suggestions? ANY help at this point would be gratefully  
  36. accepted.

  38. OH, and does anyone know why ODINSUP refuses to pass packets from NDIS after  
  39. about 15 minutes under OS/2 2.0??
