- Sadly, according to Novell, there aren't virtual ODI drivers, and when I talked
- to them about it (our entire organization uses ODI with its networked PC's)
- they said that there weren't plans to write the drivers. I told the rep that
- BYU, at least, is very interested in seeing such a thing, and he said he'd
- bring that up with the developers.
-
- Perhaps if all of us who want virtual ODI drivers (meaning a virtual lsl and
- virtual MLIDs) would call Novell and let them know that there is a demand, then
- they would write the drivers, or at least tell us how to do it so we can do it
- on our own.
-
- The current solutions seems to be limited to buying the NetWare Requester for
- OS/2 for IPX and waiting for the final release of LanWorkPlace for the TCP/IP
- stack, due out, I think (disclaimer disclaimer, I don't speak for Novell) in
- November of this year. I can't be sure, though.

- The version reported by the NetWare Requester's NETX.COM (written especially
- for the private access dos session) is IBM DOS 4.00
