-
- Isn't a little open discussion comparing the products (That's what
- they are - product) a healthy thing? After all, this is os2.misc,
- not os2.advocacy :>
-
- Do we (the net) REALLY need to worry so much about who-says-what-in
- what-group? Is the net really so anal that every little egg has to
- be in it's proper little basket?
-
-
- As an recent convert from Windows 3.1 to OS/2, I welcome the W3.1 OS/2
- comparisons. Knowing how to climb one mountain can help you reach the
- peak of another (and sometimes, OS/2 starts to look like Everest!)
-
- Last word (Finally :>) - A GUI is a GUI is a GUI - I've gone from
- ST's to Amigas to Windows to OS/2 (With a little Mac thrown in), and
- knowing one interface will allow you to navigate the others with little
- fear of screwing something up. SOOO, as long as we can all agree (as
- I'm sure we do) that OS/2 has a lot more meat than Windows (Which is
- not as obvious as the average technical mind thinks), what's wrong
- with a comparison of the basic interface? After all, they're all
- rip-offs from Xerox PARC! :>
-
- thank you
