- Run INSTALL again, but this time modify the 800x600x256 refresh rate
- from its default value of 72hz to 70 hz. It's mentioned somewhere
- in tha genuine ATI docs (but *not* in my Gateway OEM version of those
- same docs) that 800x600x256 mode is available only at refresh rates
- of 70hz or less. I did that, and VPIC suddenly started working at
- 800x600x256 mode for me. I'll bet that after you do this, 800x600x256
- mode will also magically show up on your test menu.
