- Hi all,
- I came home today and turned on my PC and it startup up OKAY. As soon as
- the system Booted up, I tried to run a DOS shell. It told me that there was
- insufficient memory to run my apps! I have a system w\16MB ram. Thus it seems
- unlikely that the starup (which contains the color palette and windows clock)
- takes up all the available memory. Also in the startup is the utility that
- tells me how much memory is being used. This utility tells me there is over
- 6MBs free - and yet I cannot stortup anything! Not even open the settings for
- an app. It tells me to shutdown some apps and try again. When I shut down the
- Windows clock and the Color Palette, I can run a DOS session.
-
- Any views and ideas are welcome.
- Thanks
- Divya
