  20. I don't see a problem.  The people who buy products based on
  21. columnists' recommendations would get really teed off at him if the
  22. system didn't work great the first time around.  By recommending a
  23. 386/33 or better, people who have problems due to speed/memory can't
  24. complain to him.

  26. If a user had a 386/25 (or 16...), he'll think he got away with
  27. something and will be satisfied.  If Dvorak had recommended an sx/16,
  28. people would complain about speed and he would lose face explaining it
  29. to the masses.
