- I'm running OS/2 on a 386/33 clone with 16MB ram, and an ATI VGAWONDERXL
- card with 1MB RAM hooked up to a NEC Multisync 4D.
-
- I ftp'd the 1024x768x256c driver from ftp-os2.nmsu.edu and tried
- to install it.. made sure SVGA was on, ran the patch program on the
- driver, booted dos, replaced the display.dll with the patched driver,
- and rebooted to OS/2.
-
- The desktop comes up in the correct mode and looks good EXCEPT -- there
- is an amazing "flicker" -- there is a flickering "shadow" of all on-screen
- objects about 2-3 inches to the right of the "real" object. This is not
- an interlacing flicker (my monitor is non-interlaced anyway) ... it looks
- like WPS is trying to draw each window, icon, etc. in 2 locations at once!
-
- Has anyone had a similar problem or know of a solution?
-
- Thanks,
- Jeremy
