- I ran it on a plain DOS machine with a SoundBlaster (Rev 2.0 ROMs) and
- it worked OK. Still nothing under the OS/2 DOS box. I've been told
- (via email) that there is a version 2 out. If anyone can point me to
- an ftp site that has "Whacker Tracker II", I'd like to try it out.

- The program may work, but I can't use it. When I load it on a machine
- with an ATI VGA Wonder (like my SoundBlaster equipped PC), the program
- doesn't display its graphical interface properly - there is very large
- amounts of snow on the screen and the mouse leaves streaks. I
- couldn't load a file to test the program with. I got the same problem
- under DOS.
-
- The display came up OK on a PC without a VGA Wonder, but that machine
- had no SoundBlaster, so I couldn't test it there. And that PC wasn't
- running OS/2 either.
-
- I didn't see any e-mail address for the author of Sound System - just
- a snail mail address and a phone number for a location in Europe (I
- think it was Denmark).
-
- If anyone can get in touch with the author, I'd like to try this
- program out. If a more recent version is available, someone please
- point me to an ftp site.
