- First off, I *do* enjoy OS/2 2.0. It is certainly a better DOS than
- DOS, however, whether it is a better WINDOWS than WINDOWS remains to
- be seen (although I am not a frequent user this much is clear).
-
- In any case, My PROBLEM:
-
- I have occations where I loose control of some of the keyboard
- functions. Specifically, The CRTL and ALT keys do not operate
- properly.
-
- The computer which I use is a 486DX2/50 from Gateway 2000 with 8 Meg
- ram. Gateway has a special keyboard they use called the AnyKey, which
- allows the user to program key sequences to other keys. For example,
- I have my email address, assigned to CRTL-0 for convinence. While
- running CUTE/CP, I experience intermitent loss of this function.
- While this is not a tragedy, the eventual result to crash the system.
-
- Has ANYBODY out there in net-land experienced similar problems???
- Maybe on other systems???
-
- Reading through various literatures (OS2 TNT, OS2 Info Guide, manuals,
- FAQ) I have not found any references to this type of problem. (For
- those who don't know, the OS2 Tips and Techniques and the OS2
- Information and Planning Guide are available from ftp at
- hobbes.nmsu.edu in pub/os2/2.0/info).
