- -> First, I believe that vdisk.sys is part of OS/2, which is a RAM disk.
- -> However, I have not checked OS/2 2.0 for this, so I may be wrong.
-
- I'll take a peek and see if I can get anything working. Thanks for the
- tip!
-
- -> Second, I have 9 megs installed, with a 512k cache. Upping the cache
- -> to 1.5 Mb increases the initial size of my swap file. Using RAM for
- -> cache or RAM disk is a real trade off in OS/2 2.0, and may be
- -> dependant on the number of applications you have active.
-
- I can believe it. Working with 16 MB still doesn't seem to completely
- eliminate the swap file -- even though I've set the second number to 0
- int he SWAPPATH, I still have a 1 MB SWAPPER.DAT (this is with the
- swapper fixed kernal).
