- In the course of trying to get my setup to recognize an IDE disk after booting
- from a SCSI disk, I ahve discovered that lines in config.sys with a specific
- drive letter may have the letter removed. This causes a recoverable pause
- only in the case of SWAPPER.DAT. Of course, you might need to change all
- of the variables, such as LIBPATH and PATH to refer to the proper drive, or
- the system will have trouble finding things when you log to a different disk.
- However, you could probably do this from a cmd file.
