- I ran into this problem today. I don't know if it was from
- installing the shutdown mini-app or what.
-
- To fix it, I shreadded the shutdown mini-app, closed everything
- I could, refreshed and then shutdown. I started the system
- back up again. The app "pmfree" was still grayed, so I
- duplicated it and then shreadded the grayed app. I then
- refreshed and shut down again.
-
- If you still have problems, you may want to hold down
- Alt-Ctrl-F1 once you see the WPS background when booting
- up. This will prevent apps from being automatically started.
- (I did then once, refreshing and then shutting the system down.
- Another thing I did was boot from a floppy and ran chkdsk
- on all of the partitions.)
