- Well, in an effort to try to get everything working correctly on my copy
- of OS/2, I applied 3 patches today, os2krnl, os2ldr, and replacing comm.sys and
- vcomm.sys.
-
- After doing so, and rebooting my system everything seemed to be working, until
- I tried to start a DOS window. It responded with SYS3176 error, and booted me
- back to the PM.
-
- I then replaced the original copy of os2ldr, and tried again.
-
- Same thing.
-
- Then I tried restoring the original of os2krnl, and the same thing happened.
-
- Now, I haven't restored the comm and vcomm, but I can't see that being the
- problem... I will try that next, but I thought I would check if anyone had
- an idea of what could be causing this problem.
-
- Thanks
-
