- Hello. I read the FAQ and tried to set the DETAILS VIEW as the
- Default for the DRIVES object.
-
- I did just what the FAQ said and now whenever I click on the DRIVES
- object it gives the details view of my four drives (A,B,C,D).
-
- The problem is:
- when I select a particular drive (A,B,C, or D) and try to set ITS
- default view to Details, OS/2 won't let me.
-
- I can open drive D's settings for example, go to menu, click on
- ~open, select Settings, click on DETAILS VIEW and select OK, *but*
- if I click on Settings again, ICON VIEW is shown as the default,
- *even though* I just selected details view.
-
-
- I wonder why it saves the information for the Drives Object, but
- not for each drive itself.
-
- What I am trying to get is that whenever I select a Drive or Directory
- OS/2 always shows me a details view of whats in it. How do I do this?
- Thanks.
