Give me a break! What is your justification for this statement? After all, NeXT ships the gcc compiler with it's system, and Sun is about to ship it with Solaris 2.0 (albeit as unsupported software). Hardly a disclaimer.

I guess this means that Apple, Sun and any of the other companies
too numerous to mention that maintain anonymous ftp servers for their customers should be quaking in their boots because their lawyers are clearly not on the case.

This is perhaps the most assinine posting I have seen here in weeks.
Why should one poor, overworked machine at NMSU do all the work when
IBM has tons of hardware lying about? The least they could do is
mirror hobbes on an IBM machine somewhere.
