- You should un-write protect that diskette. OS/2 is trying to write
- the "update confirmed" file to your diskette (so that it will not
- trouble you in the future about having DOS or OS/2 on your hard disk).

- Ah, now this is bad news. It means you have a memory parity error,
- which is almost always bad RAM. The surest way to fix this problem
- (after you have read through the FAQ List and followed the suggestions
- there about wait states, precharge cycles, and bus speed) is to swap
- SIMMs out individually and replace them until you have solved the
- problem.
