- Hi guys!
- I tested the different terminal emulations included in
- IBMS TCPIP 1.2.1. First I thought that they all were quit
- slow. I found out that using telnet vt220 and vt100 is very slow.
- Then I saw the speed of ansiterm and tn is ok. Now I need a
- termcap/terminfo entry for the ansiterm emulation that is working
- correctly. I want to use vi on the unix workstations I am
- connected to. The orginal entrys of ansi on our suns, silicon graphics,
- RS6000 are not ok. I built a terminfoentry for an ansi term
- emulation which nearly is working good. Only if I delete one line
- in vi the screen does not show what I have done. Does anyone have
- a proper entry ? Why are the other emulations so slow? I can use
- vi with vt100 emulation but it is very slow. Any opinions,
- suggestions ?
