- Well, after discovering that almost none of the heralded Trident drivers
- support seamless Windows and VGA emulation in DOS windows, I have a
- question:
-
- According to the IBM spec, is seamless windows and graphical dos windows an
- OPTION or is it mandatory.
-
- My reason for asking is because I had always assumed (without any real
- evidence) that TRUE OS/2 2.0 drivers would support the seamless win and the
- graphical DOS. For this reason, I'd say that most of the Trident drivers
- out there right now are NOT bona fide OS/2 *2.0* drivers. Sure, OS/2 is
- able to function fairly well with them, but they strike me as something tha
- was put out there just to have SOME sort of Trident support out there.
-
- So, when a driver doesn't support seamless windows and/or graphics in DOS
- windows, is it a real, bona fide, kosher, motherhood & apple pie OS/2 2.0
- driver?
