  22. A customer number is assigned to you the first time you buy an IBM
  23. product.  For some reason, though, the aren't assigning them to people
  24. who upgrade to OS/2.  (Are they assigning them to people who buy it
  25. directly?)

  27. When you have the number, you use it on future orders and when calling
  28. for help.  It allows them to keep track of who's who.  It also allows
  29. them to keep a history of your problems, etc.
