- I'm having trouble with booting "real" DOS in a window under OS/2.
- In the red book it says there are three ways to do this:
- 1) from a floppy
- 2) from a floppy image on the hard drive
- 3) from the hard drive
-
- Method #1 - booting from a floppy works OK.
- I haven't tried #2.
- I can't get method #3 to work. As far as I can tell I'm doing everything
- that the red book says I should do. Has anyone else gotten this to
- work.
-
- I'm using DR-DOS ver. 6.0 for both the floppy and hard disk boot, with
- exactly the same autoexec and config.sys files. When I try the hard
- disk boot I get:
-
- Loading ...
- Can't load DOS file
-
- Then it just sits there and I have to kill it.
-
- Thanks for any help.

- Disclamer: I didn't do it - I was somewhere else at the time.
