- Hope somebody can help with this one. I am running OS/2 2.0 on
- a 386 clone with an NE2000 Ethernet adapter on thin ethernet.
- The requester seems to be working fine with one major exception:
- I am intermittently dropping some or all of my fileserver
- connections. The servers that I connect to are all on my
- subnet, and range from 2.15 to 3.11 netware. I noticed that
- this problem is particularly accute whe I am running the
- NWTOOLS application.
-
- IBM Level 2 support suggested that I increase the timeout settings
- under the SPX section of my net.cfg file. I did (see below).
- The problems persisted. They then suggested that I use the
- login from the command line rather than using NWTOOLS. I tried
- that. Still having troubles. My NET.CFG follows
-
- link driver ne2000
- frame ehternet_ii
- int 5
- port 320
- Protocol stack SPX
- abort timeout 60000
- listen timeout 80
- verify timeout 60
-
- Any help would be greatly appreciated.
