- What's this fuss all about?
-
- I don't remember that I ever had an unhappy love affair with either MS or IBM.
- I don't remember that I ever was treated particularly badly (or for
- that matter, particularly well) by either MS or IBM.
-
- Seems to me they are both trying to control the agenda, so that competition
- will be reduced and the survivor will be able to get high prices for
- his products and slow down the rate of development of new products.
-
- (And if I would really have to choose a champion, I guess I would
- pick the nerds rather than the Mormon missioaries...)
-
- I am running OS/2 because it's a 32 bits OS that works and is available
- now, and is not vaporware. IF NT becomes a (shrink-wrapped) reality
- and if it's better from my standpoint, I will switch.
-
- As for promises, "read my hips" :-).
