- Whenever I called IBM (for tech support trying to install OS/2 - turned out
- to be an old bios problem. Updated it and now everythings good.) they
- answered the phone:
-
- Thank you for calling IBM, what is your customer number?
-
- I just said that I didn't have one. I told them that I was having a problem
- installing and needed assistance. They gave me a problem number. It helped
- them keep track of how my problem was being resolved I guess.
-
- Any way, I didn't have a customer number and had no problems.
