- NO! This is not an improvement for me! The fonts are now to huge and takes too
- MUCH space. The caption is to high, the minimize/maximize buttons don't fit
- exactly in the caption as they did before. The large fonts results in that even
- text in some settings-windows does not fit in its window. All the icons are
- too large too.
-
- I had the same problem with ET4000 drivers under Windows 3.0, but then two
- versions of each driver (in each resolution) were available. One used 8514
- fonts, the other VGA fonts. I had to used the one which used VGA fonts.
-
- I hope this will happen to ET4000 drivers for OS/2 as well. If this is not too much
- trouble can this possible be done? All in all, it's impossible for me to
- use the new drivers, but then I'm happy with the old one except missing seamless,
- missing virtual desktop, missing speed, ...
-
- Better, when the first CSD arrives, all these drivers (VGA & 8514 fonts)
- for generic ET4000 cards are included, with all the promised
- functionallity (seamless, virt. deskt.).
-
-
- BTW, I have a general ET4000 card (from Trident, I think), not from Orchid, so
- I guess I don't have that much to say about the proii* drivers (Did it anyway! :-)
