- In my HPFS root directory I have a current and a parent directory entry --
- those that are usual in subdirectories but not in parent directories.
- (Or am I missing this being different on an HPFS drive?)
-
- These entries are not visible in the various views of a drive's contents
- but when I use DIR I can see them. CHKDSK doesn't remove these entries.
- They have the same date as the OS2 directory so probably they're as old
- as my OS/2 installation.
-
- My disk is a 198 Mbyte SCSI disk through an Adaptec 15xx adapter.
- It's partitioned as 100 Mbyte FAT (BIGDOS) (primary), 97 Mbyte HPFS (logical),
- and 1 Mbyte for the Boot Manager.
-
- Is there a fix to this problem?
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
- Horst
