- I was on contract with IBM Canada when OS/2 2.0 was release. The "summer
- CSD" was a constant theme, and was used on the support lines. When I
- asked whether the 32 bit graphics engine was in the GA release, the
- official IBM support line said (and I quote): "No, it will be added in
- the summer CSD". Of course, a lot of people (internal and external)
- spoke of the June CSD, which was never promised. Summer goes to Sept.
- 20th, so I expect that's when the it will appear by IBMLINK. Which means
- that Joe User will probably see it late October or early November.
-

-
- Correct. "Service Pack" is a term used to replace IBMese "CSD", but they
- are the same thing.
-
- TFS>Another interesting note in that letter: release of over 200 extra

-
- Now this will be of interest. I expect that it is the long-awaited
- opening up of IBM's internal OS2TOOLS disk as "as-is" software.
