  11. has anyone gotten rmail to work with emacs?

  13. i am trying to get rmail to work with emacs. 
  14. if i set the environemnt variable "mail" to 
  15. /usr/spool/mail/myname then emacs notifies 
  16. me that i have mail (just like under unix) if
  17. i create a file with that name. but M-x rmail 
  18. does not copy it to ~/RMAIL so i always get 
  19. the "no mail" header.

  21. what am i leaving out?
