  13.     I was hoping some of y'all could give me some advice on
  14. configuring a BBS system to run OS/2 2.0.  The system is a 
  15. 486/33 8Meg with a SCSI drive system (500+Meg..).  SVGA, etc.  
  16.     It's running Vision-X and using the Fossil Driver X00.SYS
  17. and XU.EXE for communications.  The problem is, is that the system
  18. is nearly unusable during uploads.  During downloads, it's fine.
  19. It has a 16550 with OS/2's mode BUFFER=ON.  Should IDLESensiticy
  20. be turned down, to reduce key-polling?  Suggestions?  
  21.     Also, what does the DOS setting HW-COM mean?  It doesn't have
  22. a little description.
