- I'm interested in purchasing a NEC Multispin CD-ROM drive for use with
- Windows NT. The model number is CDR-84 (internal) or the same drive
- (CDR-74) in its own external case. This drive comes with its own 16-bit
- AT-style SCSI interface card.
-
- My question is whether the pre-Beta version of NT can use the included
- NEC interface card, or will I have to hook the drive up to an Adaptec or
- a Future Domain SCSI card? If the latter case is true, then it seems I
- should just order the drive without the interface card and save some
- money.
-
- Does anyone have experience with the NEC CD-ROM drives and NT?
