- I am still using Zortech 3.00r4 for Windows development under
- Windows 3.0. There were so many posting about problem of
- transfering bugged Borland C++ to 3.1 that I assumed that
- would be the same when using the Zortech ZDB debugger under Win 3.1.
-
- I would like ot know if I was right.
-
- Could I buy and install Windows 3.1, develop and use applications on it
- with Zortech 3.00r4 or
- Shall I stay as is (while every body told me Win 3.1 was much better)
- or
- Shall I use both Win 3.0 and 3.1? I have plenty of space, but it is
- somewhat encumbersome to have 2 config.sys (in case some drivers
- won't work in both environments) and 2 autoexec.bat (but I could
- have a WIN30.BAT and WIN31.BAT file set to change and register
- the current environment (i.e. copy CONFIG.W31 CONFIG.SYS).
- I would develop under 3.0 and use 3.1 for word processing and other
- standard applications.
-
- Am I good in assuming that a compiler for 3.1 release would include
- more than the 3.1 library upgrade (i.e. some 3.0 commands would
- cause conflict at the debugger level)
