- Well, I'm having the same problem lots of people are having. I can't
- get Borland's Turbo Debugger to work under Windows 3.1 with my video card.
- The symptom is that when I switch from the TDW screen to the user screen
- (this includes exiting the program), I get a mess of text characters and
- I'm locked up. I'm wondering if:
-
- 1) Anyone who has a Portacom Eclipse II video card has been able to
- get it to work with TDW.
-
- or
-
- 2) Anyone has been able to get the TVESA.DRV driver to work with TDW.
- I ran TESTVESA and it reports that my video card understands VESA and
- should use TVESA.DRV. Now maybe TESTVESA is confused or something, but
- my system exhibits the same behavior with TVESA and it does with
- everything else.
-
- I've tried to get through to Borland, but their tech support number has
- been busy. I tried Portacom, but they were not aware of the problem.
-
- Thanks.
-
- Pete
