  18. There is indeed an upgrade to TC++W.  I ordered my copy two weeks ago and
  19. received it by FedEx two days later.  (Sorry I can't tell you the order
  20. phone#.)  The upgrade consists of five diskettes, no documentation.  It
  21. costs about $20 plus $10 shipping & handling (a bit much for just five
  22. diskettes, if you ask me).

  24. The upgrade features (quoting from the README file):

  26. --"Color syntax highlighting: The IDE now highlights your source
  27.   according to syntax."

  29. --"Windows 3.1 support: All executables and DLLs  have been
  30.   modified appropriately for compatibility with Version 3.1 of
  31.   Windows. The ObjectWindows Library header files have been
  32.   modified for compatibility with the new Windows header files
  33.   as well."

  35. --"WinSpector, a postmortem Windows debugging tool that traps
  36.   general protection faults and provides information on where
  37.   the fault occurred and the state of the machine at the time."

  42. I haven't had much time to play with it yet.  I will add that new demo
  43. programs are included and the total package takes up about 4 MB more disk
  44. space than the 3.0 version--i.e., about 26 MB total.
