- I am at the point of buying a GOOD C++ compiler for my 486/33Mhz, And
- it seems that Borland C++ 3.1 (The last release at least) is what i am
- looking for.
-
- Just a few simple questions on the net for people:
-
- 1) Are there better C++ compilers out there.
-
- 2) The best pricing i have seen is around the 300,- dollar region.
- What do you get for that money, (tools, documentation, no of
- disks etc etc).
- I also see it advertised including with framework. What is
- that, and is it really needed.?
-
- 3) What are peoples overall remarks about the compiler Good/bad/indifferent.
-
- 4) I just saw Microsoft C++ 7.0 in the store, and the package it comes
- in is HUGE, i mean HUGE. What does it come with. ??? Any good, better
- than Borland.??
-
- Any help is very much apreciated.
