  15. Someone told me the other day that some (most?) PCs with an ISA bus
  16. have the IRQ 9 signal connected to the pin on the bus slots that is
  17. designated for IRQ 2. This is quite a logical thing to do as there is
  18. no point in having IRQ 2 on the bus for AT class machines.

  20. How common is this?
  21. Can it be detected by software?
