I just re-configured my 386 from DOS 3.1 with a drive partitioned C: (5 megs)
and D: (150 megs) to DOS 4.01 with a single 155 meg partition.  This seemed
to go without a hitch, but now some of my old standby utilities can't find
existing data files.  For example, my old version of IBM's Personal Editor
(a basic text editor with some handy features) opens a *new* file when a
file with the same name is there in the current directory!

Has anyone else had problems of this sort?  Any suggestions as to what may
be happening?
