  12. Is there an 'approved' or 'recommended' way for a DOS program to say
  13. something along the lines of "Oy, Windows (if you're there).... I won't
  14. be needing any processor time for X milliseconds/seconds" ?
  15.  
  16. I can't go away and wait for a key for a specified period because the
  17. program in question looks for various events happening and isn't really
  18. interested in key-presses most of the time.
  19.  
  20. Any hints, or pointers towards a more suitable area to ask, are welcome.
