  11. I am blitting text to the screen in an application I am writing.  Some
  12. users will have old CGA displays and get snow when text is blitted.
  13. Could someone tell me the technique for preventing the snow?  I
  14. remember that it is a matter of waiting for some event to occur, but I
  15. never learned the details.
