- How do you create help files (.HLP) for MSDOS 5? What format are they? (Are
- they the same as, or at least compatible with, Windows 3.X help files?).
-
- There seem to be several programs that use help files with this same extension,
- but I suspect they are incompatible. Ideally I'd like to create help files for
- my programs that can be read by the same utility that reads system help files,
- so users don't need to know where a utility came from to know how to find out
- help about it. Failing that, I'd like to create a help utility that can read
- the main standard help file formats, so any information on file formats (even
- text file style conventions) would be very helpful....
