- I am looking for some way of remote logging into a PC over TCP/IP.
- I have two machines on my desk at the moment. One I need for day
- to day work, the other is supporting some hardware that I use also
- on a regular basis. The latter machine (PC dell386 running DOS4.0)
- takes up a lot of space on the desk -- I would like to be able to
- move it to a more suitable location but still be able to talk to
- it directly. I would like to use the other machine as a front-end.
-
- Both machines are on ethernet running TCP/IP.
-
- What would be nice is if my main machine (running UNIX) could
- interface over the ether to the PC and run it as a remote machine.
-
- Are there any utilities/device drivers available that would help
- me achieve this goal. If there are where should I look. If there
- are not, what technical difficulties do I need to overcome to
- achieve this goal?
-
- Thanks in anticipation
