- I am a non-PC person that has the task of educating non-computer people and
- equiping a few 286's and one or two 386's with some useful PD/Shareware
- utilities at my place of employment.
-
- I have browsed through a few FTP sites that have PC utils, but have noticed
- that they lack a desciptive readme file that I could view prior to FTPing
- them to my host. Are there any sites that have this sort of setup, and if
- not, what are my alternatives to getting useful description's without having
- to unpack the archives to get a doc file? I'm not talking about a lengthy
- technical document, just something that says "this program is a _____".
-
- Thanks for any help,
-
- Tony
