- Hello,
-
- I've got an IBM PC (the real thing) in lab that I would like to use
- with an Audio Precision System One signal generator and DSP processor.
-
- The PC has 640K of memory and a 10M hard disk. It has a monochrome
- Amdek monitor. The machine is about 8 years old.
-
- (1) Can anyone tell me what kind of video output this PC has? Is it
- among things like CGA, EGA or VGA? If not, can the video be upgraded
- to something like VGA?
-
- (2) The machine has no mouse. Can I add a mouse to this beast?
-
- (2) The PC is running MSDOS version 3.0 Would it be a good idea to
- upgrade to 5.0? I have no room for windows on the hard disk however.
-
- Since a PC is required to operate the AP System One, I would like to
- use this machine as it seems to work fine.
-
- Please send e-mail if you can help. Thank you.
