  14. I've got an IBM PC (the real thing) in lab that I would like to use
  15. with an Audio Precision System One signal generator and DSP processor.

  17. The PC has 640K of memory and a 10M hard disk.  It has a monochrome
  18. Amdek monitor.  The machine is about 8 years old.
  19.  
  20. (1) Can anyone tell me what kind of video output this PC has?  Is it
  21. among things like CGA, EGA or VGA?  If not, can the video be upgraded
  22. to something like VGA?

  24. (2) The machine has no mouse.  Can I add a mouse to this beast?

  26. (2) The PC is running MSDOS version 3.0  Would it be a good idea to
  27. upgrade to 5.0?  I have no room for windows on the hard disk however.

  29. Since a PC is required to operate the AP System One, I would like to
  30. use this machine as it seems to work fine.
