  11. I'm setting up Pacioli 2000 as treasurer of a little theater group to
  12. replace our paper books.

  14. My basic problem is that when I open period 37, to shift the first
  15. fiscal year off the active periods display, I lose the audited balance
  16. carried forward from the first fiscal year into the second.  The
  17. account balances are OK, but the auditing option loses it.

  19. Is there anybody who uses Pacioli 2000, and uses the auditing option
  20. to reconcile checking account balances, who has successfully opened
  21. the 37th period?  If so, I want to discuss details.

  23. I won't include a detailed description because it would either bore or
  24. confuse a lot of people.  Please drop me an email response if you have
  25. done the above successfully - or even if you've had trouble with it -
  26. and I'll give you more details.

  28. In case you're wondering why I don't just call Pacioli 2000 technical
  29. support, I tried that, half-heartedly.  I mailed the registration card
  30. last January and the Postal Service returned it with a sticker that
  31. said they moved and left no forwarding address.  Now that I need help,
  32. I found and phoned their current support number.  The recording said I
  33. needed my registration number, and I waited several minutes with no
  34. evidence that there was a real person there - who might in any case
  35. only tell me that they couldn't help me until I registered.
