- I have been a faithful reader/contributor to this group for
- 4 years and will continue to follow it since I teach OS and
- use Minix as the example OS. However, AST's new text and the
- discussion on microkernels has led me to think about switching
- to mach at some point in the future. At the moment I have
- access only to BITNET (and this group) but I will soon be
- able to have internet access. MY questions (please answer
- directly to me)
-
- 1. Is there a discusssion group on mach?
- 2. Is there available a low cost version of mach for 386/486
- that can be used for instructional purposes?
-
- thanks in advance
