  20. That was me.  I did try XMenu but it caused some very odd behavior
  21. (like Emacs often failing to refresh its window) so I took it out.
  22. The Emacs INSTALL instructions say "it works on some systems, on
  23. others it doesn't" and I just let it go at that.
